Use some rubbing alcohol and apply a VERY small amount on your pimple. And if you’re kinda embarrassed where some of your acne is appearing from, you can disguise it by use a Q-tip or cotton ball and apply it on. Oh and try this! Mix olive oil and salt together and apply it to your face. It really works! I know "oil" but trust me, it works. Don’t use products like Proactive…IT DOES NOT REALLY WORK! Oh and another way to zap pimples is toothpaste and shaving cream! Use toothpaste and apply it to your pimple and cover it up with a band-aid. Shaving cream works too, apply it on and your acne will dry up immediately….but don’t forget to wash your face even though it’s gone. Dab garlic juice on your face. It works too, and tries smashing an aspirin tablet and mixes some lemon juice with it and applies to your face daily. Don’t stress out and try to keep your hands and hair away from your face! No over the counter products will completely heal your acne. Acne is a medical condition; you need to see a doctor for it. Over the counter products are made to control acne once yours clears up. There are no over the counter medications that are strong enough to really clear up your skin. Buying these products will probably prove to be a waste of time and money. Moderate acne requires prescribed treatment.

I have used AcneFree also for almost 2 and a half years. It has helped clear off most of my pimples. It’s impossible for any medication to completely cure them. I used to have mildly sever acne and now I have about 5 pimples max on my face. It’s really great. AcneFree is a great long-term medication. I’m 13 almost 14, so it’s natural for me to have pimples. This medication has helped me clear my skin soo much. Try it! Make sure to use a mosturizer afterwards though!

I have had good luck with Acne Free (wal-mart brand of Pro-Active). Also I really Clean and Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser. Both of these use the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide, which I think works better than salicylic acid.

Also i’m sure already know: wash your face twice a day and no more. Try to limit hair products you get on your face, such as hair spray which can clog pores.

I agree with the toothpaste answer. Try putting the paste directly on acne, leave overnight and gently wash off in the morning.

You can also try applying egg whites. Simply separate an egg and using a clean finger or Q-tip, dip only in the clear part of the egg (not the yellow yolk) then apply directly to pimples. Leave overnight and gently wash off in the morning.

Another odd, yet effective treatment is to use Head and Shoulders shampoo. It seems that Head & Shoulders Intensive Treatment (the one with Selenium Sulfide, not Zinc) is a very effective treatment for acne. Simply put some shampoo in your hand, add a little water , lather it up a bit and apply to face. This is also supposed to be very effective regarding body acne as well. Simply use as a body wash in the shower.

Tooth Paste! It has some ingredients in it that will dry and take out redness! after school if your just staying home put some tooth paste on it a good amount of it and put a band aid on it. Keep it on overnight and when you wake up get a wash rag wet it with warm water and SCRUB!! The zits will just scrub off then get Netrogena lotion and rub on to get out redness. Also its OK to pop zits..theres a trick to it though…on every zit there should be a white tip its pus! Its the infection in your zit. Pick the white ONLY off. And put the cream on.Wollah gone in about 8 hours. Remember wash yor face daily too. When your home from school pull your hair up in a pony tail and clip any extra hairs up to keep them away from your face. Hope I helped!!
