Any fast, at-home, acne remedies?

well I've tried most store brand acne treatments and have not gotten many satisfying results. I think I would like to try some at-home remedies. I have read some similar questions and most of them involve using witch hazel and thing of that sort, which I can't find anywhere where I live. I am 14 years old and have very oily skin. I would like to have my acne mostly cleared up before school starts on August 11 (p.s. thats 16 days i think)

first off, lay off the foods that will produce oily skin: caffeinated drinks, (also any kind of soda pop), sugar (it's in many processed foods), grease (fried foods), and excessive carbs. Secondly, witch hazel is in every drug store, so if you don't have a drug store nearby, I would be surprised. (Just ask the pharmacist or sales clerk for it. It's a clear liquid and does not sound as bad as its name!!). Lemons and cucumbers are nice to the pores. an oatmeal wash (oatmeal in a blender to a fine powder) is also very soothing. Acne is difficult to treat but remember: your skin's mantle, (the top layer of epidermis) is VERY SENSITIVE and you can bring more problems if you squeeze or invade the skin. Be gentle and kind, (no detergents!) and do not worry. DRINK LOTS of water, 4-5 tall glasses all day, and get plenty of sleep. It will disappear if you treat your skin with care. (also make sure your pillow case is very clean, as well as your hair. Grease from your hair can get onto your face as you sleep.)

I don’t believe it’s possible. It took me months of getting chemical peels, taking antibiotics, and using prescribed acne treatments before my breakouts slowed way down. I still get pimples, but I’m not getting two to three new ones a day, just one or two every few weeks.

Hey acne is a horrible problem i know. But the more rememdies you try the more it will stay. Just leave it alone and put on gentle skin washes and creams, dont use things too strong even if it is recommended for acne because its not true. Just stay calm about it and by using gentle skin washes and creams it will be fine, maybe not insatantly but after some time!
Try : johnsons – clean n clear washes. they work amazingly on my skin
    and try: nivea creams
they are very good. Remember to help your skin don’t use a variety of washes. Stick to one that suits you and use them always. Using variety will won’t do you good!
I hope your acne gets better =)
