My younger sister has had acne problems for a while, but lately her face has been clearing up a lot. I just wanted to know if there were any home remedies, to help her face clear up faster and to reduce future break outs. She eat's healthy and everything.
Drink lots of water and try not to stress too much about it as stress if known to make acne worse. Also acne goes away pretty fast when you know how to get rid of body toxins. I used this method and has been acne free since then http://morereviewz.googlepages.com/acnefree.htm You can try it if you like.
Good Luck

In order to keep healthy, one must keep consistent with eating healthy, drinking water and lots of sleep. You might hear lots of remedies using toothpaste, lemon juice, etc. CONSISTENCY is the best. First thing is first, 8 hours of sleep a day. They don't call it beauty sleep for nothing. Drink a lot of water, ALOT. Not a puny 2 glasses, more like 8 glasses. Doesn't matter if you pee alot. It's just a process that will take the toxins out of the body. It's refreshing, trust me. Exercise. Keep to the daily ritual of washing your face everyday and do not sleep with your make-up on! Next is to exfoliate, twice a week. Oh and if you are using a creme with Benzyol Peroxide or Salycic Acid then try to use it once in a while. Use a moisturizer. Healing takes time…so don't expect immediate results tomorrow. But you will have immediate results next week and the week after, and soon enough you'll be sporting a beautiful face. Good luck out there!

I really wouldn't recommend toothpaste, some people swear on it but it's just kinda dodgy, didn't do a thing for me. If you do want to try it only use a miniscule amount on each zit.
Tea tree oil is anti-bacterial and anti a lot of other stuff, you just dab it on each zit and it's available everywhere.
Also
-1/2 and 1/2 mixture of lemon juice and rosewater
-rubbing a clove of garlic onto each zit
-Apple Cider Vinegar, you can either drink it with water or apply it to the face (but you MUST dilute it)
if you type in 'natural home remedies acne' or something similar in google you get TONS of stuff.

She can try this. Clean face every morning with cotton ball soaked with apple cider vinegar, might sting a little but very effective, try if you don't have a sensitive skin. Try on a small part first. Helpful solutions for pimples at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/

Apply tea tree oil to the area several times each day. Some research indicates that tea tree oil is just as effective as benzoyl peroxide, the number one over-the-counter acne treatment.

Hi. There are some things she can do at home to help, but they do take some time.
Drinking plenty of water daily helps soften and hydrate the skin and flush toxins from the body. Aloe vera is a great natural healer, as well as honey, certain vitamins, in particular vitamin E. Certain fruits and vegetables have natural ingredients that help heal acne and scarring, as well as certain essential oils, natural oils, and green tea is a great one. Even using a tomato, real lemon juice and ice! I won't go into the detail here, but my link's below, and you can learn how to use them and others, and how they work.
There are some high quality acne products I can recommend that work very quickly, but you talked about home remedies, so if you want to read more about the products, they're also at my informational acne blog. They're all high quality and reasonably priced.
There's more info at my blog that may be helpful to you, but I hope this helps steer you in the right direction for her. Good luck, and let me know how it works for her!
