What acne home remedies ACTUALLY WORK?

Posted by admin on June 18th, 2009 and filed under acne home remedies |

Have you tried a cotton ball moistened with alcohol? That works pretty well for some folks.

I have before tried the vinegar route. I burned my face pretty badly; at that point I realized that the use of vinegar wasn't for me.

You can make a paste using baking soda and a little bit of water to use as a scrub on your face. That will help because it helps to clear blocked pores.

Getting plenty of vitamin C (in fruit) and vitamin D (from the sun). Regular washing of the face with hot water. Not sure how far this will go for serious acne though.

    Hi Angel,

The watery gel from Aloe Vera plant is a highly effective natural cure against Acne. The enzyme-rich gel has very soothing anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It can also be taken internally and helps clean up and detox the digestive tract. This in turn can help clear up the skin.

Gel or juice of Aloe Vera is highly useful in fading of acne scars. You can grow Aloe Vera plant in your home and apply freshly taken pure Aloe Vera gel to your scar. Otherwise many branded cosmetic companies manufactures pure Aloe Vera gel, so you can choose the best cosmetic companies to get Aloe Vera gel.

Vitamin A is also a natural and effective Acne cure. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin.

Vitamin E also helps in countering Acne. It is a natural antioxidant and beneficial for the skin.

Tea Tree Oil is obtained from the Melaleuca alternifoliais tree from Australia. It is very effective against Acne as it contains bacteria-fighting substances called Terpenes. Acne is often caused by bacteria and the Terpenes either outright kill them or weaken them enough to be destroyed by protective antibodies. There are very little side effects from using Tea Tree Oil.

Do you know that Carrot is one of the best acne destroyers? Let me tell you how. Carrots contain many essential nutrients and vitamins including beta carotene which is vital for healthy skin. I am curious to how many carrots you consume in a week…You may peel the carrots and eat or simply make some juice to more appreciate it. Whichever the way you like the importance is that you are consuming it. Carrot not only has a role in curing acne, one another major benefit is that the beta carotene helps improving vision.

If you have a zit that is red and not ready to pop put a little bit of visine on it. As visines motto goes"it takes the red out" which it actually does. It doesnt make it disappear. It just makes it less red.
