What are good home remedies to treat acne?

I've heard of using toothpaste, red wine vinegar, honey, benzyl peroxide, tea tree oil, and others. do these really work or will they make the acne worse? and is there any other home remedies i could try to clear up my breakout? please help!!!

Benzyl peroxide is the best. But first you need to--- well here. I looked up for a long time how to get rid of acne and i found this to be the best. here is the routine

1. Wash face with just water. Then pat dry. Barly touch your face when you do this!!!!

2.Then use salic acid (which absorbs)
What you should use for salic acid is a face wash, such as cleaisil daily face wash or their cleansing pads by clearsil. If you use the face wash leave it on from 1-5 minutes. If you use the pads then leave that on 2-5 minutes. Then for both wash off and pat dry and BARLY TOUCH YOUR FACE WHEN YOU DO THIS! Then wait a few more minutes. If you don't like those products just make sure the salic acide is 2%.

3. Every other day you should gently exfoliate, you can do this by Clean and Clear morning burst. Also leave on for a few minutes and pat dry, again Barly touch your face when you do this, and then wait about 2 minutes

4. Then you should put you benzyl on. Most products though use 10% benzyl peroxide. NOT GOOD!!!!!! 2.5% is the best. I use acnefree the terminator which is great and only has 2%. So just put that one your acne and then wait about 5 minutes

5. After that you MUST MOISTURIZE!!!! I think Aveno is great, if you don't want that though make sure u get non-codmegentic moisturizer, which means is does not clog pores, so be sure it says that!!!!!

Then your done! Also after washing your face sometimes you should mix honey and table sugar together. Then put that on your face for a few minutes. then wash that off. This gets rid of all the dead skin cells and can just make it seem like your glowing.

Hope this helped
