Some good at home acne remedies?

Posted by admin on August 27th, 2009 and filed under acne home remedies | 4 Comments »

What are some at home acne remedies that work?

1.Try using witch hazel and lemon juice as an astringent. If you have oily skin and believe this exacerbates your acne or pimples, as the bacteria underneath, which has already clogged your pores, has trouble being released due to excess oil on the skin’s surface level, witch hazel and lemon juice are an all-natural remedy to remove excess oil from your skin. You can find organic witch-hazel at Vitamin Shoppe (www.vitaminshoppe.com). Lemon juice can be found at your local grocer.
2.Drink more tea. Tea has extremely effective skin-healing, purifying, and antioxidant properties that have been proven to aid in acne and acne scar reduction. Red tea and chamomile tea have particularly been found to be therapeutic in reducing acne, acne scars, whiteheads, and blackheads. Additionally, chamomile has been found to stop acne, especially in the essential oil form because of its powerful effects. Celestial Seasonings (www.celestialseasonings.com) makes both chamomile and red teas and they cost relatively little. Drink about 2-3 cups a day. Your acne-prone skin will thank you. You can also add honey and lemon, which both are great for skin health and acne.
3.Remove excess oils, dirt, toxins, and free radicals from Your Skin. Exfoliating is a must for anyone who has acne, pimples, or acne scars. The key, however, is not too overscrub your acne and to find a gentle acne cleanser. Look for a scrub that is all natural and contains scar and acne healing ingredients, such as lemon, baking soda, orange, chamomile, aloe vera, and salicylic acid.
4.Make an all natural acne-eliminating potion. Wash your face 2 times a day with the following: 1 tablespoon of witch hazel, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of brewed green Tea, and 1/4 cup of baking soda. Your skin should show a difference.
5.Steam your face. Hold your face over a basin of warm, not scalding hot water for 1-2 minutes. Then place cold ice cubes on your pores. This will tighten your pores and help your acne

Are there any home remedies that can help with back acne?

Posted by admin on August 15th, 2009 and filed under acne home remedies | 4 Comments »

ive had back acne now for about 2 years, and have tried many prescribed medicines creams and tablets etc. Are there any ways i can get rid of the acne using home remedies.

I had terrible back acne for years.

Managed through a series of home routines that become part of your daily stuff like washing your teeth.

Buy the following :-
1. a long handled stiff back brush
2.a soft sponge
3. a bundle of flannels
4. bottle of tea tree essential oil and a bottle of rosemary essential oil
5. a tube of quinoderm cream
6. a good quality non-laureth sulphate shower gel

DO NOT USE SOAP

OK off we go

MORNING routine
————————–
Shower or bath every morning whether or not you think you need it
Scrub your back every time using the shower gel
You must dry your back immediately and properly till bone dry
Apply quinodern topically to the worst areas, this will help stop infection on broken skin

BATH routine
——————-
Bath with a few drops (7 max) of essential oil added to the water
It is very potent so you have been warned, Use them alternatively. They have anti-bac and anti-viral properties.
Scrub your back
Dry properly
Apply quinoderm topically
Use flannels dipped in water with ess oils to treat any inflamed areas.
Keep your towels and flannels scrupulously clean and fresh
Don’t use soap as it builds up on skin and layers leaving fatty deposit and scumy residues.
After a bath rinse off the unclean water you’ve been sitting in with a hose down of fresh cooler water, this will clean you down and close the pores a bit.
Scrub out the bath after every use

Change your t-shirts every day/twice if you need to
Change bed linen every 5 days
Change pyjamas every day/other day

Drink an extra litre of water a day till you are peeing once an hour, increase uptake on fruit the 2 that help are grapes and pears.

Its an effort upfront but oh the difference after a few weeks and manageable thereafter.

Best Wishes

i need acne remedies that i can make at home and that work well and really fast. i dont have sensetive skin and i have lots of ance. please tell me a remedy that you’ve already tryed and/or witnessed for yourself that it works cause im in desperite need for my acne to go away

The only acne at home remedy I have tried, that actually worked is the Salt Scrub. It is for facial acne and body acne (Such as backs, chests, arms, ETC.). It reduced the size, redness, and overall appearance of my acne overnight! Although it didn’t completely erase the acne overnight, (nothing does) it worked very well for me! Here is the recipe and instructions: RECIPE: Get a small bowl. Fill it 1/4-2/4 full with water. Keep adding salt to the water until it forms a salty, watery, paste. Make sure its completely mixed. INSTRUCTIONS: Lightly scrub onto affected areas in a circular motion. Use as needed. Let sit for 30 seconds. Then wash paste off with cold water. This should close up your pores. -Hope this helped!! :)
