Any good home remedies for acne and pimple scars?

Author: I have bad acne, all over my face. but theres no blackheads or whiteheads, mostly just red bumps. i want to know what your best remedies are for bad acne that have quick results. then rate it on 1-10 on how well it worked for you.
please help me, im desperate!!!

put toothpaste on a zit before you go to bed, it should go away or diminish in size
