Posted by admin on January 27th, 2009 and filed under acne home remedies | 2 Comments »

I can’t seem to find anything in the market to rid of my acne, so im wondering if there are any home remedies that really work.

Thanks

try baking soda and lemon juice.. put it on your blemishes and go to bed. wake up and wash it off. its supposed to dry them out.

The best acne treatment (home remedies)?

i need a treatment for bacne and chest acne. home remedies that actually work. i have heard of apple cider vinegar and rubbing alchohol. whats the best?

One of my favorite acne treatments is tumeric. It's like an orange powder you can find in the spice section of most stores. If you wet a Q-tip and dip it in tumeric, then put this on your acne, it goes away amazingly! Hope this helps :)

what works better to remove acne home remedies or creams?

do home remedies dry the skin

Depends on what kind of acne you have. I have tried several things–here's my list–

Tea tree oil - works if you have serious oily skin - makes your skin less oily and some people break out less (apparently takes longer to work) Just add a couple of drops to a moist cotton ball or make up remover pad.

Benzoyl peroxide - get it as a cream (1 - 2%) or in other products like glytone or proactive…it seriously dries your skin so if you try it get a good moisturizer.

Antibiotics - Tricycline worked for a while, and minocycline was working until I went off it to go on

Accutane - for intense cystic acne and oily skin. Works like a charm but can give you medical problems.

I heard Witch Hazel helped reduce oil problems not sure about acne though.

If you want my advice start with the natural approach first (Tea Tree oil). The people it works for it works well. Plus it's cheap (I spent $8 on a bottle at the pharmacy.)

Good luck!

At home acne remedies!?

I know I've kinda already asked something like this. And sorry, but I need all the answers I can get. So the biggest/best day of my life is in one week. And I seriously need to clear up my acne. Any at home acne remedies that work somewhat fast without going to the drugstore or dermatoligist? (excuse my spelling :p)
And does drinking water and excercising really help?

Okay heres what you should try !
-drink at least 10 cups of water a day, or more than you do usually (water helps clean all the nasty stuff in your body)
-try a honey, lemon juice, and cinnamon power scrub/mask and leave it on for 20 mins
2 tablespoons of honey
1 table spoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of powdered cinnamon
-dab on some lemon juice everynight , leave for about 10-15 mins, lemon juice kills bacteria

GOOD LUCK ! :)

Acne home remedies that I should try?

I've been looking up many acne home remedies and I don't know what to try! I did once try the honey and cinamon remedie but that one failed. Plus its not like i have one or two pimples I have them all over, probably more than 20 ! I was thinking about trying to rub garlic or lemon juice on my face… Any home remedies that helped anyone who has REALLY bad acne???
I also herd toothpaste works…but how long do u leave it on your face and do you wash your face right after?
and yes i did go to a dermetologist but the cremes he gave me irratated my skin and made me brake out even more!

For Existing Pimples, try using Desinex diaper cream….sounds crazy I know, but it really works. Spread a thin layer over affected areas and leave on overnight.

To promote healthy skin, drink a couple cups of green tea every day. Adding spearmint leaves will heighten the effect. You can also rub the green tea bag over your face….it may be a tad drying so I'd only do it a few times a week.
