i know it sounds silly,
but some people say that putting eggs or mayonaise on your hair can make your hair soft and shiny etc
so i was just wondering if there are any home remedies that can help clearing acne?
please NO stupid suggestions!!
thanks in advance! xx
Ladies, this will sound pig headed and disgusting, but please believe it is the truth. Semen is very very good for your skin. It truly truly is.
I am 28 years old, and still have trouble with those pesky pimples. Not an overabundant amount of them, but enough to make me self conscience. Any home remedies? Also, anything to remove old acne scars? Only serious responses please. It's a matter of self-pride.
First of all wash your face with warm water followed by a splash of cold water. This will remove the dirt and open the pores for any medication. Basil leaves can be used to treat acne. Make a paste and apply on affected region. Turmeric works well on old scars. I hope this helps.
So my skin isn't terrible, I have mild acne, but it seems to be getting worse. I was searching for products, but I thought I'd see if anyone used something else, like toothpaste (which by the way is a very bad idea, I wouldnt recommend it). So if there are any home remedies you make yourself, I'd love to know. or if there are any products that really worked for you let me know. Thanks!
NEOSPORIN! Seriously!
The redness and scarring is minor and it comes and goes. I want a clean and clear face thats undercontrol.
1.Baking soda can be used as a great scrub. To start off, you'll want to mix a small amount of baking soda with some water for form a paste. Gently massage the paste into your skin for ten to fifteen seconds. Then rinse the baking soda off, and pat your face dry with a clean towel.
2.Lemon or lime juice can also be substituted for vinegar. Both of these juices are rich in citric acid, and can exfoliate your skin very well, halting the growth of acne spots, as well as fading previous, non-active acne quicker.
3.Crack an egg, removing the yolk so that just the egg whites are left behind. Beat these egg whites, and apply them directly to your face. Let it sit for fifteen minutes, and then rinse the egg off.
4.Aloe Vera has been used for many years in kitchens for topical application to burns. Another benefit of aloe is that it can prevent scaring, fade marks and help heal acne spots.
5.Each time you wash your face, use sugar to scrub it, at least once a day, for two weeks, to rid yourself of acne.
6.Soak cotton wool in mint juice, and apply every day.
7.Apply crushed marigold leaves on acne.
8.Boil and mash plums to get 8 teaspoons of pulp. Add a teaspoon of almond oil, and apply on the face.
9.Make a paste of turmeric powder, and apply evenly on the acne.
10.Mix together neem leaves paste, a quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder, sandalwood paste and gram flour. Apply on the acne and let it dry well before rinsing.
11.Powder half a cup a whole green gram. Mix it with two tablespoons wheat bran. Regular application of this will clear skin of acne.
I hope this works for you!:-)
I know green tea is good for your skin, but are there any home-made acne treatments you can make with green tea? I have loose-leaf green tea, and applying it after drinking my tea seems to help some… can you mix it w/anything else though?
Positive skin effects in the area of skin care have been found with green tea. Acne and eczema are two specific areas. Green tea is a great, cheap alternative to the expensive toners and astringents used for acne.
Green tea is used to make a concoction with other ingredients that can be applied to clean skin with a cotton ball. Some notice a decrease in the presence of acne by simply drinking the tea, even though you should be careful with the increase of the caffeine to your diet since this is linked to an increase in acne breakouts.
Olive oil can also be added to green tea to make a treatment for eczema.
I just broke really bad and I was wondering if there is anything I can use that I have at home to make it go away instead of buying stuff from a store.
Try these home remedies for acne:
·Wash the face twice daily with a tea of calendula officinalis,
·Mix 1 teaspoon lemon juice with 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder. Apply this paste on the pimples and wash it after 20 minutes with warm water. Repeat for two weeks,
·Use aloe vera juice on the pimples morning and night for as long as necessary (perhaps five months or longer).
·Make orange peel paste by grinding it in some water. Apply on and around pimples.
·Rub garlic on and around pimples.

The lemon juice, I mean. I don't know if the stuff that comes in the little plastic lemons is natural or artificial. It seems to work, but I'm just wondering if it's natural. I use lemons to get rid of a difficult blemish, and i've been doing it for a while so I don't think there's any danger to it..
they're all lemons
Do you have any home remedies for acne other than Toothpaste?
I have tried Proactiv did not work!
I suffered with Acne for years as a teen and the only solution I found that worked well for me was Proactive and Clinique makeup. I tried a million home remedies, hemmeroid cream, tea bags, I could list a hundred, but none of the worked as well as proactive. Good luck to you.
I went to grannymed.com and got a couple of home remedies for acne. I want to know if they really work before I use them. I don't want the risk of having worse acne. Thankxx
